Year 7

The Year 7 boys should be commended with the way they have transitioned into secondary school life. Building upon the connections they have made through homeroom classes, SJC Swimming/Athletics Carnivals, Zoo Excursions and our Peer Support Program, students have held themselves in very high esteem and have been positive role models in the wider community.

In Term 2, we will be selecting a student from each class to be selected as a Student Representative Council member. Successful applicants will be selected by their peers based on leadership qualities to drive social justice initiatives, sporting carnival participation and act as a liaison between staff and students. I look forward to working with the gentlemen throughout the selection process.

Finally, as we approach the term break, I would encourage the boys to take this opportunity to relax and refresh their minds for a busy Term 2. If teaching staff require the boys to complete set classwork over the break, please allow them to be proactive in seeking assistance via the relevant platforms (Email, Teams and OneNote).
