Interschool Sport

We are really looking forward to the return of interschool sports in 2022. Hopefully an uninterrupted term of sport, activities and fun.

Students can complete the following form and select two preferences for Term 1 Interschool Sport. Getting organised early helps us to coordinate teams, coaches and training sessions.  It is very important to note that students do not need to have experience in these sports but are encouraged to participate, join in, get active and above all, have fun.

Year 8 Interschool Sport

Avenues Exchange

The Exchange is one of the oldest traditions in our college, for 56 years we have competed against a school in South Australia. We will travel in June rugged up in our squad jackets and beanies to meet our rivals and friends Avenues College to compete in 28 different events. We encourage every student to try out for the squad, only about 80 students are selected, so it's very competitive.

To give yourself the best chance of making the Avenues Squad, students should try out for as many teams as possible. Effort, sportsmanship and the display of school values are always strong factors when teams are considered. We hope that all year levels try out for the squad of 2022.

Please fill out this 2022 Avenues Student Tryouts form to let us know which events you would like to try out for.

Please follow the tryout training schedule for Term 1 and communicate with event coaches with any absences to training.

Squad selection will be completed by the end of Term 1.
