Music News

Welcome back to all students involved in the Instrumental Music Program at Chelt! Now that you have all settled into your schedule with your new teachers, we are back on track for an exciting year ahead here in the music department.

There are so many incredible events happening this year.

Rehearsals are underway for our first-ever ALL female band and vocal ensemble performing at Kingston Town Hall on Friday 11th March for the 2022 Woman of the Year Awards - more information below. We are making history!!

We also have our legendary Avenues band competition this year and preparation to take on the Adelaide team with gusto. Audition dates will be announced soon.

We will be training and coaching singers and musicians for Chelt's HUGE production of GREASE, preparing some of our students for VCE Music and AMEB Exams, as well as preparing students for our four massive concerts throughout the year.

Sometime later in the year, Chelts Got Talent will hold auditions and this event is open to ALL Chelt students.

If your music classes haven't yet appeared on Compass, please email Mrs Maxwell Cripps at max@cheltsec.vic.edu.au.

Looking forward to a FUN year ahead!!
