Climate Canons

Sustainablilty leaders

Captains announced

WELCOME everyone to the 2023 school year and hopefully another big year for the Climate Canons. For our new students and families, the Climate Canons are representatives of the student body that generate sustainable ideas and assist students to make more sustainable choices. We are currently a team of students from Year 8 to 12  who are passionate about making our school community an environmentally conscience space.

We have already met to make plans for an eventful Keep Australia Beautiful day and congratulated our 2023 Climate Canons Captains, Sharie Fernandez and Akshita Minhas at the College Assembly on Wednesday, 16 February, who will be excellent ambassadors for the College and the Climate Canons.

Our Containers for Change bins were full by the end of the Inter-House Swimming Carnival, showing students engagement in our program and we have a number of new staff joining the student team in 2023 as a reflection of the committee’s importance to the College.

For all students , especially our new students and Year 7s, if you’d like more information about what we do and/or are interested in joining, please email Miss Pisconeri (dpisconeri@norbert.wa.edu.au) your expression of interest.
