SASj begins

Resounding First Victory

THE Senior Boys basketball team put in a stellar performance in their first SASj match for 2023 - against Seton College, securing a resounding victory with a final score of 68-17.

The team displayed an impressive level of confidence and composure throughout the game, which saw them dominate their opponents from start to finish.

The team's success can be attributed to the exceptional skills of each individual player, including Taine Duncan Howard, Benjamin Berardis, Kalisto Ubu, Joshua Richards, Yawasyaf Yohans, Tyler Madigan, Joshua Welsh, Benjamin Paddon, Travis Williams, Madden Creek, Antonio Cuccovia, and Hayden Price. These students worked together seamlessly, making use of their unique strengths and abilities to outmaneuver and outscore their opponents.

The team would like to thank everyone who came out to support them and make their recent victory possible. They look forward to continuing to represent the school with pride and excellence throughout the rest of the season, and hope to continue to receive the same level of enthusiastic support from the school community.

Looking ahead, the team is preparing for their next game away against Corpus Christi College, and their subsequent home game in Week 5 against Providence. With the talent and teamwork displayed in their recent win, the school basketball team is poised to achieve continued success throughout the season.
