School Band & Seahorse Singers Performance

Our School Band and the Seahorse Singers performed 'With a Little Help from My Friends' by the Beatles at Assembly last week (29 July). The singers choreographed the movements by themselves and, even though approximately half of the group was unable to perform due to sporting commitments, the remaining singers proved to be real troopers!

The Band (yet to be named) have become a cohesive family of musicians in a very short time. I am thrilled by the ability of all ensembles to come together with very few rehearsals, to present such polished performances. Audrey Fine

Flute Ensemble

On Monday 5 August, our ensemble played an interesting arrangement of three well known melodies – Michael Finnegan, Skip to My Lou and Camptown Races. Each musician played a small snippet of the individual song which was followed by all three tunes being played together as 'companion songs'.

Unfortunately, one member was absent due to illness, but this will not be the final performance for this hard working ensemble.
