Year 10 Visual Art

The terrific start to Year 10 Visual Art continues this month.

We have been looking at a number of artists including Impressionists.  It has been really enjoyable working with shapes as inspired by Pablo Picasso and others in the class have worked through a tuturial by the amazing Bob Ross. His black and white mountains are really effective and you will be very impressed by the colourful (and highly talented) work of others in this class. Thank you Mr Squire - this class is great!.

Sport and Recreation - Year 12

Senior students undertaking sport and recreation studies had the most wonderful opportunity to enjoy (although much of the walking is hard work) a few days studying the incredible nvironment of the Grampians in Central Victoria. If your family has not visited this part of the world what better time of year than the Easter / Autumn break.

Thank you students and Mr Parker for such wonderful photos.

As always click on each individual photo for a large stunning view.

Student group feedback

‘Last week the Year 12 Outdoor & Environmental Studies class went to Halls Gap in the Grampians for a 2night/3 day hike. The trip consisted of mostly smaller hikes, visiting a range of campsites and lookouts, as well as an education session with a Vic Parks employee (Bill) at ‘Brambuk – The National Park and Cultural Centre’.

We saw a variety of wildlife; including kangaroos, emus, wallabies, deer, goats, kookaburras and cockatoos, and were amazed by the scenery that surrounded us. It was a great experience to be in the outdoors and a fantastic experience for us all’
