Haka Warriors

A successful first session of the Haka Warriors program. Our Pasifika students had the pleasure, to work with Tom and Moana from PCYC Blacktown, to identify the value of self and identity. Students were asked to think about the importance of Pasifika culture within their identities. There are several strong connections being created throughout the year groups, and several of our students showcasing their strong leadership qualities within the program. Can't wait to see the future progress within this space!!

The Haka Warriors Programs is an inclusive interactive program that utilises the vehicle of cultural expression to engage with youth. The program provides a holistic approach to promoting core values of unity, respect, resilience, self-worth and identity. It also addresses the barriers hindering our young people from being positive citizens within our community.
