Community Cooking 


On March 8, as part of International Women's Day, we invited two of our amazing parents, Mrs Janet Noshie and Mrs Cigdem Derbas to demonstrate a cultural dish to our Year 10 Food Technology class. 

Mrs Noshie showed our students how to make vine leaf wraps, while Mrs Derbas taught us how to make a traditional Turkish lentil soup.

We even had the chance to taste the delicious soup!

We thank Mrs Noshie and Mrs Derbas for taking the time to share their skills and knowledge with our students. We had so much fun learning all about vine leaves and Turkish soup.
