Booklist Ordering Instructions

Online ordering will commence on Monday 18 November 2019. All orders received by Friday 20 December will include a 10% discount on most stationery items. We ask that you order early even if you decide to pay on a later date.

Lighthouse Books provide a total online ordering service designed to allow parents/guardians to order and monitor the status of their orders at all times. As of 18 November, hardcopy booklists can be downloaded from www.lighthousebooks.com.au

All parcels are home delivered. An administration fee of $5.00 is charged to all students (this covers all aspects of the order process).

Detailed ordering instructions will be distributed early next week to all students attending Blackfriars in 2020, and they will also be available on the SEQTA portal.

SunSmart

With the weather warming up, students are encouraged to wear sunscreen as the last line of defence after clothing, a hat, shade and sunglasses. During sun protection times, apply SPF30 (or higher) broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen to any skin not covered by clothing. Lastly, students are encouraged to bring a water bottle with them to school every day and use the below recommendations as a guide for how much water they should be drinking each day, based on their age.

Ages 5 to 8 years old: 5 glasses (1 litre)
Ages 9 to12 years old: 7 glasses (1.5 litres)
Ages 13+ years old: 8 to 10 glasses (2 litres)

Lost Property

Reminder to parents/guardians to put your sons’ full names on their uniforms and other belongings (i.e. lunchboxes and water bottles). This will aid school staff in identifying the owners of lost items so they can be returned. Please contact the Student Services Office for further information.

Metro Card Recharging

Metro Cards can be recharged at the Student Services Office on school days between 8.20am and 3.30pm. Please note that the Student Services Office does not sell Metro Cards (only recharges).
