Prospect Carols

The Annual Prospect Carols is held on Friday 29 November at the Prospect Memorial Gardens, opposite the North Adelaide Football clubrooms. This year the evening will again feature Blackfriars musicians!

The two bands performing on the evening are our Rockin’ Rhythms and Big Band Theory as well as other guest artists from the community. The Carols commence at 7 pm and will conclude at approximately 9 pm. There is plenty of food and drinks available on the night. Please come and support this event as it is a most enjoyable evening and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the festive season as a community!

AMEB Exam Results

A congratulations to Year 9 student, Denis Byers, who recently sat his AMEB Grade Two Piano exam and received a B+ High Credit grade. An outstanding effort!

Academic Assembly, Prospect Spring Fair and St Dominic’s Fete

A big thank you to everyone that was involved or came and supported Blackfriars over the weekend of the Academic Assembly, Prospect Spring Fair and St Dominic’s Fete. It was an extremely busy yet very successful weekend! All the boys involved across the weekend outstandingly represented the school and should be commended on their efforts.

Music Soiree

On Wednesday 30 November, we held out Spring Music Soiree in the James O’Doherty Performing Arts Theatre. We had a great variety of performances from both the Primary and Secondary students displaying an outstanding level of performance. It was also a lovely opportunity to thank our Year 12’s for their efforts before their exams.

Thank you to everyone that came and supported the students in their performances on a wonderful spring evening!
