Art of Revolution

Year 10 Art of Revolutions at Revolutions, Rebels and Records

Last week our Art of Revolutions class visited the exhibition at the museum, Revolution: Rebels and Records. The exhibition showcased the era that changed the world, the 1960s. The combination of music, art and political context gave us an insight into the time and movements happening. Even though we may not have been there in the time we were able to draw inspiration from the posters and the action that they took. Revolutions in art focuses on the significance of art and the impact that it can have on political movements. Our whole class had a great time, fully immersing ourselves in the exhibition to the backing track of 'imagine' by John Lennon. Lets just say the public attending the exhibition at the same time were inspired by our great dance moves.

We would highly recommend this exhibition, its open until the 6th of October. Thoroughly enjoyable and I hope you get to experience as well!
