IAN ORR

It is with great sadness that we inform you that the ex-teacher, Mr. Ian Orr, passed away January 2022 after battling illness.

Mr. Orr was McKinnon's much-beloved Stage Band Manager. He was an incredibly talented musician that inspired and influenced countless students.

Mr. Orr was an extremely important member of the McKinnon family and will be greatly missed. He leaves behind his wife and two sons.

Thank you for the music, Mr Orr.

GEOFF REBBECHI

It is with great sadness that we inform you that an ex-teacher from McKinnon SC, Mr Geoff Rebbechi, has passed away in April 2021. He taught at McKinnon between 1961 - 1972.

Mr Rebbechi taught mathematics, was heavily involved with the Cadets, and would eagerly attend our annual grand reunions.

He is remembered fondly by staff, students and parents.

GREG PARKE

Greg Parke - Class of 1965 - Died 25/9/21

Greg played 119 games for Melbourne between 1968 and 1973. He then played 37 games for Footscray between 1974 and 1975. He also went on to play 18 games for Norwood in 1976 and then came back to play 15 games for Fitzroy in 1977.
