Cyber Topic of the Week: The Alannah and Madeline Foundation visit to SGPS

In two weeks on Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th March we will be having a visit from the Alannah and Madeline Foundation who will be running workshops for each Grade 3-6 class, as well as for staff and for our parent community. Through care, prevention and advocacy, the Alannah and Madeline Foundation fight for the right of children and young people to be safe, so their future is strong. The focus of their visit to SGPS will be on cyber safety.  

Student workshops will focus on how to remain safe and behave ethically in the online world. Permission for your child to take part will be released on Compass soon. There is no cost for this incursion. 

SAVE THE DATE:'Parenting in the Digital World' is a seminar designed to support parents and carers to navigate this ever-changing and complex space. The seminar will take place in the 5/6 Building on Monday 6th March from 6-7pm.

School Photo Day is being held next Wednesday 1st March. The flyer you need to place a photo order with Leading Image School Photography is attached below. Please make sure you order your family photos no later than 4:30pm the day before (Tuesday 28th February).
