Term 1, Week 4
Please return school nurse forms, Swimming and movie permission notes ASAP.
School uniform
Please ensure that your child is wearing the correct school uniform. School shorts need to be plain coloured, with no branding. Hair scrunchies and headbands need to be black or green, and socks need to be white or black. We appreciate your assistance with this.
Reader bags
Now that we are sending home reader bags every day, please make sure they are returned to school the next morning so that we can add to them.
No more rest days
We had our last Prep Rest Day this week. We are very excited about a full week of school next week!
Teddy Bear Picnic
To celebrate our first Wednesday at school, we are having a Teddy Bear Picnic. If you have a picnic rug that we could borrow on that day, please bring it in. Take note, that it may need a wash afterwards!
We ask that each child brings in one teddy bear to spend the day with us at school.
School Photos
School photos are happening Wednesday too. Our photos are usually first up at the beginning of the day.
Teacher Sound Bags
We have made sound bags with objects that relate to each sound in the alphabet, to use in our teaching of each sound. If you come across any small objects (that would fit in your hand) in your home or on your adventures that begin with these sounds, we would love them! Thank you!
Start Up Performance
The Preps and the Grade 5s did an amazing job performing 'Agadoo' in front of the rest of the school and many parents. We did lots of practising and it sure paid off!
