Principal's Report

School Uniforms

Just a quick reminder that our school uniform policy only allows for plain school shorts and pants. I am noticing lots of branded clothing i.e. Nike, Adidas, Hurley, etc. Your support in sending your children to school in the correct uniform is greatly appreciated.

Parent Opinion Survey Results

The Department of Education & Training recently released the results of the 2022 Parent Opinion Survey. Our results continued a long-term trend of positive opinions from our parent community. I have included a summary below.

The percentages in orange (SGPS), purple (Similar Schools), blue (Network) and black (State) refer the the percentage of parents who had a positive response to those particular questions.

Parent Club

Our Parent Club AGM is on next Friday, 3rd of March at 2.00pm. Parent Club is a great way to get involved with our school and play an active part in making our school even more awesome. Please contact Emma Clohesy at hello@happyhandshappyheart.com.au to confirm your interest or ask any questions.

Student Leaders for 2023

We have now finalised our student leadership positions for 2023 with the selection of our Student Representative Council (SRC) and Indigenous Leaders.

We are excited to announce the introduction of a new leadership position at Spring Gully Primary School. This year we will have two Indigenous Leaders. We are currently developing their roles and responsibilities, however they will attend SRC meetings as Indigenous Student Representatives and will be assisting the school in goal setting and providing peer education on Indigenous matters.

Our Indigenous Student Leaders for 2023 are Evelyn Fagan and Tiahna Evans

Congratulations to the following students who have been elected as SRC members for their class:
