Prayer for Inclusivity

Almighty God, we thank you for the opportunity that Years 10 – 12 have had to consider inclusivity and loving others. Lord, please help them to see beyond themselves and empathise with others they encounter. We pray particularly for the moments where differences of opinion are found, would your peace prevail over conversations.

We thank you for the inclusive school that Shelford is, offering a safe place for all. We pray for this to continue as societal culture of individualism continues, please help Shelford to teach their students what loving others looks like. We know that Jesus asks us to love both our neighbour, meaning those around us, and to also love our enemy, which is often hard. Give us the strength to do this.

Amen.
