Junior School Playground Update

It is an exciting time watching our Junior School Playground and the neighbouring areas come together. There is concrete being poured for pathways, retaining walls and earthworks being completed. We await the arrival of the towers, planting and landscaping and the final concrete pours before it is complete.  As you can imagine, the weather is not our friend at the moment! 

As a result of this work being done, there will be a short period of time when the Junior School Gate will be unavailable for our community.   

At that time, we will open our large gate, so that Junior School students and staff can enter and exit there. Our staff on gate duty will operate from this gate at that time.   

During the day, students will be able to access the Hall, Hood and music rooms through the other small gate but will need to exit Shelford at the milk gate and walk along the footpath to enter from the far side of the school. The Junior School students will be supervised walking to specialist and music classes at this time. 

We will communicate with a Shelly News item when this will be required but wanted to give you ample warning of this slight change to usual operations.
