COVID 19 - TIME CAPSULE

Writing Competition

The COVID-19 Pandemic has had a major impact on the world as we know it. To preserve the experiences we have had during this unexpected time, the Middle School Captains would like to create a TIME CAPSULE; a collection of experiences from people who lived through the pandemic to be opened during the school’s 150th anniversary year.  

The experience of students and teachers is incredibly unique to this event and so, we are holding a Writing Competition, where members of the school community can send in their own personal testimonies that may be used in the time capsule.   This may be written in any style you would like; a poem, recount, narrative piece, etc. 

The 10 pieces that we believe best encompass the COVID-19 Pandemic and its experiences, will be placed in the time capsule.  All other pieces will be included in a display to show the variety and diversity of how the pandemic was experienced.
