Thailand Community Service Presentation to FTG Rotary Club

On 16th May Rachel Harriage, Marnice Marjee, May Ou and Pam Hankaweethoon were invited to speak at the Ferntree Gully Rotary Club. The Ferntree Gully Rotary Branch donated $1,000 to our Community Service Project in Northern Thailand  in 2015.  On behalf of the 13 staff and students on the trip, the girls wanted to acknowledge the generosity of the donation and to show how their money had been used in the project.  We presented the Club with a short film that had been created of our building project.

On behalf of the school and the Thailand group we want to express our gratitude to the Rotary Club of Ferntree Gully for their generous donation towards our building project.

The Thailand Community Service Tour 2017 is to be launched in Term 3.  There will be presentations made to current Year 9, 10 and 11 students in week one of Term 3.  This will be followed up with a Parent Information evening on Monday 18th July. 

We look forward to the opportunity of making a real difference to the lives of our Fairhills Students and those in minority communities in Thailand through this Community Service Tour in November 2017.
