ANU Direct Applicant Webinar Series 

ANU (Australian National University) 

are running a webinar series to assist applicants with getting to know ANU and their application processes. These upcoming ANU webinars will be held over Zoom on Wednesday at 4:00pm to 5:00pm (AEST) throughout the application period (2 March – 18 May 2022) and will discuss topics such as: 

  • Admissions process 
  • Accommodation options 
  • Scholarships (including but not limited to Tuckwell) 
  • Subject specific presentations (run by our colleges and including but not limited to Science, Languages, Business, Law)

University of Sydney Veterinary Science Degree – Wednesday 23 March 4-4:30pm

Have you ever wondered what the day-to-day life of a veterinarian is like? And how you would become one? Join this session and learn about what veterinary medicine is about, what an average day of work might be like for a veterinarian and how you can pursue studies towards becoming a vet yourself. Pathways to Sydney – Wednesday 23 March at 5pm

Join this webinar to find out essential information about getting into the University of Sydney! The Pathways to Sydney webinar provides an opportunity to learn about important admission information, including adjustment factors, early offers, entry schemes, and pathways. You’ll find out about their Maths prerequisite and alternative ways to meet this important requirement. JMC Academy high school workshops are back!

JMC will be holding Saturday workshops in "Immersive Audio" and "Songwriting" on the 26th of March at their JMC Melbourne Campus. The workshops are a great opportunity to check out the JMC Academy campus while getting a taste of what studying your passion with Australia's leading Creative Industries provider is like at this fun, engaging and hands-on program! All participants receive a Certificate of Participation, and it can also help students develop their own projects during the school holidays. The upcoming JMC workshops include:

Immersive Audio Workshop – Saturday 26 March, 9am to 3:30pm JMC Academy's Immersive Audio Workshop will immerse students in the changing world of Audio! This workshop will explore sound aesthetics in a 360 virtual space. Students will learn how to move audio through the room and place it wherever they want to create immersive soundscapes used in film, music and game design! Songwriting Workshop – Saturday 26 March, 9am to 3:30pm The Songwriting Workshop is for all of those budding songwriters who want to know how to generate ideas for that unforgettable and unique song!
