2021 Australian Mathematics Competition

Australian Mathematics Competition  (AMC)  is an enduring nationwide competition designed by Australia’s leading educators and academics, with a deep understanding of our national curriculum standards. Year 10 student  Hao Ming (Danny) He achieved an extraordinary result in last year's AMC. On this demanding paper, he achieved a result that placed him in the top 0.1% of all students in his year level. This achievement earned him a prize, which is an incredibly rare feat.

How do I feel about my success in the AMC? 

Not only am I both proud of myself for my performance in the AMC but I am also proud to be able to share this success as a representative of Nossal. Personally, I found the test really difficult but after discovering my results, I realised that pretty much everyone else felt the same. I feel that it is important to remember that the test is built to be challenging and that its difficulty shouldn’t discourage others from participating. Overall, I found the experience both challenging and fun regardless of my performance.
