Spring Jams - Free School Holiday Songwriting & Performance Workshop at Club5082
City of Prospect’s Club5082 is partnering with Music SA to offer a free song writing and live performance workshop during the school holidays for budding musicians aged 13 – 17 years.
Date: Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 September
Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm daily, with community showcase from 6:00pm – 8.30pm on Sunday evening.
Location: Prospect Town Hall – 126 Prospect Road, Prospect
Cost: Free, limited spaces available!
What: This is an exciting opportunity for young aspiring musicians to learn about different styles of contemporary music, to explore their own creativity and structured song writing methods, and learn how to set up and use a P.A. before trying their hand at performing on stage. Workshops are being offered to 13 -17 year olds. Sessions will include song writing for beginners, rehearsal and preparing for live performances. In partnership with Music SA, City of Prospect’s Club 5082 is offering the workshops to participants free of charge. Not only will they get the chance to sing their songs live at Club5082 on Sunday night, their family and friends are invited to attend too!
