Aerobics
Towards the end of Term 2 the annual Aerochallenge Competition (aerobics) was held here at Nazareth College.
Our girls did us proud, finishing 2nd place in Upper Secondary Division. Congratulations to Jenna Andrikopoulos and Julia Mali.
Our Junior team, Holly Gravell, Shanaya Patel and Alicia Rasool, displayed flashes of brilliance throughout the day against some tough competition. They will be a force to reckon with in the future.
Thanks must go to our coaches, Georgie Abela and Roisin Selvarajoo.

Junior Boys Soccer
This year the Junior Boys Soccer squad had a cracking season, where they went undefeated and had the highest goal difference in the league. (A positive goal difference of 20.) There were many good moments during the season, like the wins and attacking play. A big thank-you to Harry for coaching the squad through the morning ‘School of Excellence’ program.
Captain & Defensive Midfielder: Tré Cossigny -
What a season! I couldn’t have asked for a better performance from any of my players in any department. The way that we played as a team and how we were able to remain undefeated to the very end was a great experience alone. The honour of leading the team as captain is something that I’ll never forget.
My favourite moment with the team has to be our first game against St Francis Xavier College. The game started with a penalty for Nazareth College, which Keenan buried in the back of the net. My goal from outside the box for the second goal helped our confidence, and we were now in the driver’s seat. Soon after, our whole team pushed into gear as we scored goal upon goal.
Attacking Midfielder: Keenan Trinidade -
The way our soccer team performed was outstanding. Playing four games and remaining undefeated is simply amazing. This year the team made our school proud by playing to the best of our ability and working as a team.
My favourite moment with the team was when we played our last game of the season against St. John's. We knew it was a ‘must-win’ game because this was the title-deciding match. We were all very nervous, but we played through this to win 6 - 2. This game was my favourite memory because the moment the final whistle blew, we had beaten the team who were undefeated. After the game in the locker rooms, the feeling was one of excitement. I couldn’t have asked for a better season and performance from myself.
