New Faces

We would like you to meet some of our new staff members.

Jerry Penny - Marketing

Jerry Penny has joined the team at Nazareth as the new Marketing Officer and comes with a wealth of marketing knowledge spanning a career that started in the last Millenia. Jerry has worked for a variety of corporates and small businesses, and has mentored thousands of business owners.  In the last 4 years, Jerry has worked very closely with the Victorian Parents Council, a not for profit supporting parents and educators in Victoria.  It is this role that led Jerry to get involved full time with a school community, and she loves this opportunity to make a big difference at Nazareth.  Jerry is a mother of two children, 14 and 11, so “school life” is a big part of her day.

Jerry can be reached through the email marketing@nazareth.vic.edu.au if you’d like to make any suggestions for the future.

Rebecca Schilling

Hi, I’m Bec one of the new maths tutors joining Nazareth! I am a university student completing my last semester of a Bachelor of Marketing, minoring in Mathematics at RMIT. I am currently applying to Master of Teaching degrees and am excited to gain valuable experience at Nazareth. In my spare time I love playing netball and travelling! I look forward to meeting you all!

Melissa Hilton

My name is Melissa Hilton.  Whilst I have spent most of my working career working in accounts, this is my first position at a school.

I resigned from my last job and had a five week break travelling through Europe with my family.  I have 2 adult children,  Johnny 23 and Lucy 20.

Over the last ten years I was heavily involved in starting up a charity with my group of friends  called “Chicks for Charity”.  We raised funds for individuals who needed help.  It was very rewarding and I met some wonderful people along the way.

On the weekends I enjoy socialising, cooking, walking and have found a new passion for Pilates.  I also enjoy going to the football and go for Collingwood.

I am now looking forward to getting back into a routine and getting to know you all.
