Semester One Music Evening

Over 60 performers entertained the biggest crowd seen in many years for the Instrumental Music Evening on Wednesday 3 May. Backstage was a buzz of nervous excitement as students from Year 7 -12 prepared to entertain family and friends.

It was lovely to see so many new ensembles showcased with The Elliminations adding more members to become The Elvis Tribute Band, the Vocal Ensemble & Trios, smaller brass and woodwind groups, a String Quartet, larger String Ensemble and the two Concert Bands. Added to this were beautiful solos & duets.

Many thanks for the success of the Evening goes to the tutors Natalie Atkinson, Stephen Gill, Emma Piera and David Stewart who work behind the scenes helping students prepare. Thank you also to the families, friends and staff who attended to support the students and celebrate their achievements so far this year.
