Cowra vs Parkes

On Friday March 9 the Junior Boy's Cricket team travelled to Parkes to play in the Lachlan Shield.  We lost the toss and were sent into bat.  Kye Johnson (35)  and Bevan Foxall (63) consolidated after losing an early wicket with a 121 run partnership.  After some big hitting from Bobby Jeffries in the middle order we finished on 178 after our 40 overs.

Darcy Callaghan starred with the ball taking 4/2 as well as orchestrating 2 run outs as we bowled Parkes High out for 30. 

Cowra vs Condobolin

Condobolin High were sent in to bat first and made 49 runs.  Mac Webster was on a roll and bowled 3/9 which started the collapse.  Other good bowlers on the day were Kye Johnson, Riley Fliedner, Bobby Jeffries and Sonny Eastwood,  taking a wicket each.

Cowra High went into bat, chasing the small target.  Darcy Callaghan started the innings with a good partnership with Zac Perkins, 20 not out.  Bobby Jeffries also batted with 9. 

We are still waiting for the results to come in but it is likely that the team will make it to the Lachlan Finals.
