Located in the Student Management area at Holloway Road campus, the Careers Room is open every lunchtime. Students are welcome to come around and browse resources, ask questions, or book an interview with our Careers Practioner, Deb Hanlen.

Year 9 and 10

 

Students are being introduced to a range of career resources that can be used to assist in choosing subjects for next year. I will be running information sessions with students to explain the process, resources, and important dates. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

 

Year 11 and 12

 

It is never too early to start researching courses and pathways. Organise an interview, check out the resources in the library and careers room and look through the useful links.

  • Discover Monash Seminar Series

Hear directly from current students, alumni, and staff across our ten faculties. Students are encouraged to register to attend as many of these course information events that might be of interest to them.  Below are seminars taking place from June to August.  Note: some are ZOOM meetings.

 Trades at RMIT

RMIT's building trades work closely with industry to develop courses and initiatives that rapidly respond to the changing needs in the workforce and address current and future skill shortages.

 

RMIT offers numerous pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship courses including the following disciplines: 

  1. electrical and instrumentation
  2. plumbing and gas-fitting
  3. refrigeration and air-conditioning

Students are encouraged to browse Building and Trades at RMIT to learn more.
