Welcome back for Term 2. During this Term many events within the Careers and Pathways space occur. Future events occuring at Killester College for 2021 are:

  • Year 10 Gems in STEM Information Session Thursday April 29
  • Monash TEAM Program for invited Year 10 students April 29, May 27, July 22 and August 19
  • Monash SEAMS Camp for invited Year 11 and 12 students July school holidays - dates TBC
  • Morrisby Parent Information Evening Tuesday June 22
  • Senior Pathways Careers Expo Thursday July 15
  • Year 10 Subject Selection interviews for 2022 Year 11 Pathway, Tuesday July 20, Wednesday July 21 and Thursday July 22
  • Year 12 VTAC interviews ongoing throughout Term 3; students will arrange own appointments, dates TBC
  • Year 10 Work Experience Program Monday August 30 - Friday September 3
  • Year 9 Monash Choose Your Own Adventure Program Friday October 15 

Our Access Monash program is well underway for 2021 with many of our Year 11 and 12 participants arranging to meet their mentor in person here at the College. We enjoy seeing our Monash mentors at Killester College and wish our students well for the remainder of the program. Bursaries for all involved students will be provided in late June. 

 

Year 9, 10, 11 and 12 families are warmly encouraged to attend the VCE and Careers Expo which is running Thursday April 29th, Friday April 30th, Saturday May 1st and Sunday May 2nd at Caulfield Racecourse, Station Street, Caulfield. For further details visit the link below.

There are several universities including Monash and Deakin who have arranged specific faculty webinars for prospective students. See details in the latest edition of Compass Careers News.

Killester College has been contacted by McDonald's South Clayton to communicate they are currently recruiting staff. All applicants must be over 15 years of age. See the attached brochure and scan the QR code for more information.
