Welcome to Term 2

It has been an action-filled commencement to the Term with the School Review taking place and the opening of the Tullow Centre. The College ANZAC day service was overseen by Year 12 leaders: Satwant Kaur, Charlene Nheu, Beatrice Emilie, Jashanjot Kaur, Lucy Furlong and Missy Yalung. The Monday morning school tour this week had nearly forty participants - with many prospective students from Years 4, 5 and 6.

NAPLAN preparations are beginning for Years 7 and 9, the 'Dance Mob' has been in for our Year 7-9s using the fabulous facility at Tullow, the SCSA Futsal teams competed last week bringing home a pennant, SEGAP Basketball, Futsal and Badminton have been competing, the Empower Me Program has commenced for some Year 7s and today we have had the Annual Athletics Carnival. In comparison to 2020, it is such an exciting way for us all to commence Term 2!

Wishing all of our students and their families (and our extended community) the very best wishes for the weeks ahead.

Year 7 Parents Morning Tea

The Year 7 parents are warmly invited to our Year 7 Parent Morning Tea to be held on Wednesday 5th May  from 9.15am to 11am. The venue will be in the Tullow Building. Parents will have the opportunity to meet our senior school leaders and share their daughter's experiences at Killester, also enabling them to meet other Killester parents. Parents will be able to tour the Year 7 Helen Toohey building and see their daughters working in their classes. A letter will be sent to parents and will also include whether parents require interpreters during the morning. We welcome the opportunity to meet our parents and look forward to seeing you there.
