Kindergarten Zoe C - joint construction of a recount for the story The Little Yellow Chicken, In kindergarten we have been learning about the past. Grandparents are an important part of our lives who help us learn about the past so we decided to make them a special artwork. This is Edison B’s artwork for her grandparents., Zoe C - applying sound knowledge to independently spell the word ‘pot’, Harry N - reading words and matching pictures using our new grapheme ‘ck’, Edwin Z - striving for accuracy in backwards counting, Marmaduke M - striving for accuracy with the number before

Year 2 Emily A - identified the conjunctions used in compound sentences, Taj C - practiced his multiplication skills by using repeated addition and grouping to find the answer, Charlotte T - used her knowledge of sounds to write a sentence and sound button her words, Caitlin V - completed a word sort of the long e and short e sound with the ea spelling choice, Zachary B - sharing his understanding of duration, Sahara D - wrote a compound sentence about World Environment Day
