In kindergarten we have been learning about the past. Grandparents are an important part of our lives who help us learn about the past so we decided to make them a special artwork. This is Edison B’s artwork for her grandparents.

INTERVIEWS BY YEAR 6...

KJ is so happy to be back at school because they find it a lot easier to learn and to understand. They also love listening to the school song every morning. Their highlights on home learning were having the opportunity to choose the order in which to complete tasks. They also liked being near family. They found home learning easy and really enjoyed it! Their favorite thing they have done back at school has been drawing. They have been drawing DINOSAURS!!! They know that they are very safe at school because they have the teachers there to look after them and they also have the school rules. They are very grateful to have their family and siblings to help and support them.  Kindergarten sounds like they are going to have a great rest of the term. By Frankie H Year 6

KM are happy to be back at school, because they like going to school and seeing their friends and teachers. The reason they liked home learning was because they liked spending time with their family. They didn’t find home learning hard, and they had a great time. They know school is a safe place because everyone is sanitising and washing their hands all the time. 

In class they have been making birds and creating artworks during the time they have been back at school. The people that helped them the most were their parents. The things that kept them going were their teddies and having their family near. Another thing that KM likes about  school is catching the bus and being picked up by their parents. Overall KM are very excited about being back at school!
