INTERVIEWS BY YEAR 6...

1J
The first week back at school was a blast. 1J enjoyed coming back to school for many reasons. Being back at school made 1J feel happy and excited to be back with their friends. They were also a tiny bit nervous to come back as things might not go the way that they planned. So far 1J has been doing art with Mrs Birac and fun things like phonics and spelling games. Somethings that make 1J feel safe at school are hand sanitiser, the teachers and having lots of soap dispensers. What makes 1J feel safe in the heart is to be together like one big family. Two highlights in class were religion and art. They enjoyed all the patterns when doing artworks and high and low notes when participating in music. Some things that helped year 1 during home learning were their parents, their teacher, their friends, bug club and seesaw videos to keep them on track.  Overall 1J enjoyed being back face to face with their teacher the most. “No duty is more urgent than that one of returning “ James Allen
This week as the school bell rang students came rushing into classes ready. 1M felt a rush of excitement because they knew that they would be able to see their friends and teachers again. Ruby and Keon said that they were happy being able to play in the playground with friends again and they also enjoyed seeing their buddy’s. The teachers, especially Mrs. Stanzio made them feel welcome by rewarding the class with bubbles when they did good learning. The highlight of their learning this week would have to be maths where they did a booklet of revision. They really enjoyed playing with friends, having a teacher there to support them constantly when they needed help. 1M really enjoyed this week of learning and are excited for the rest to come.
