INTERVIEWS BY YEAR 6...
6J feels happy to be back at school and to see their friends. They have been focusing on persuasive writing, visual arts, music and fractions in maths. They have also been setting new term 2 goals by reflecting on their home learning. They feel safe at school by listening to instructions, washing their hands and knowing there is regular school cleaning.
The highlight for 6J with home learning was being able to eat whenever they wanted and setting their work pace. During home learning they got help from their parents and siblings when they had a problem. Overall they are happy to be back at school for many reasons, some including their friends and seeing their teachers face-to-face. By Mickael F

6M started with a slow start to school with tired students and exhausted peers because of their break during COVID-19. They have enjoyed seeing their peers because they have not seen them through the pandemic and they have also enjoyed being in class and working with their teacher face-to-face. They also enjoy having less online work. 6M, through the COVID 19 pandemic, have relied on their parents to keep them on track to complete their work. The morning announcements and the weekly newsletter is what kept them going through this unprecedented pandemic. Keep up the great work 6M! By Anthony C
