2J
This week, 2J have been slowly settling into their new learning environment. They had to use the habit of mind thinking flexibly, to get used to learning at school. In the process, they have been writing lots of stories, counting in number patterns and especially enjoyed crafting chickens, after reading the story Whitney and Britney and the Chicken Divas.
Being back at school is a big change, and 2J are prepared for all the obstacles that stand in their way. They are really happy and excited to see all their friends again, it’s  a whole new experience. Being at school is easier because the teachers are always there to help them understand and be the best that they can be.  Also, they feel safe when teachers and older students are around. Keep up the good work!  By Bella C

2M
2M have come back from home learning with a positive growth mindset! They have lots of great work to share. They have been having fun back in action in class after the break. In mathematics they have been learning multiplication groups, and in English they have been learning about nouns/proper nouns and adjectives. How great! Year 2M has been feeling happy when being back to school and seeing their friends and teachers. They know that school is a safe place because there are great hygiene practices here at St Joseph’s like hand sanitiser, staff helping wipe all things down like chairs, tables, tubs and much more! The highlights of year 2M at the moment is that class is really fun. During home learning year 2M received help from their parents, siblings and grandparents. By Dillon D
