St James Dads (or Significant Other) Movie Night
With further restrictions set to ease next Tuesday, Palace Cinemas have rescheduled our booking for 6.30pm Friday 13th August (the Friday after next).

I know the kids were really looking forward to this, so I am sure it will be a great night out!
Palace Cinemas have kindly offered to provide movie vouchers for anyone who can’t make it, due to the rescheduling of this event. Please let me know by Sunday 8th August if this is the case.
Lets keep our fingers crossed we get there this time!

Colour Explosion Run - Friday September 10
Thank you so much for your wonderful positivity and overwhelming support for our Colour Explosion Run on Friday September 10. The kids are so excited and we cannot wait to make it an awesome day! As you know, this is our school's major fundraiser this year.
Every child should have received their sponsorship booklet with instructions on how to set up their fundraising profile. So far, we can report the following:
- 180 children enrolled at St James
- 29 children with profiles set up
- 15 children have raised more than $1
This is a great start, but we would love to see more children involved and be part of the fun. Remember that every dollar counts towards helping our school. If you are yet to set up your child's profile, please head to www.myprofilepage.com.au. - click register and follow the prompts to add your parent details and add your children.
Every child who raises money will receive a prize of choice from their library (depending on their level of fundraising). A special prize will also be awarded to the top child and top class!
Each week we will share a leaderboard update. As of August 4, we congratulate the following grades....

An important reminder that tickets for our annual Parent's Night Out event are on sale now!
Tickets include an alcoholic beverage on arrival, canapes, pizza and fabulous entertainment!

We understand that due to these unprecedented COVID times, some parents may be concerned if the event is going ahead or not. At this point in time we are planning for the event to go ahead!
If the event is unable to go ahead due to restrictions, we will provide a full refund to all tickets purchased.
However our exciting cash pool will still be drawn no matter the circumstances! So grab some tickets to be in the draw to win 1 of 2 cash prizes!
It's going to be a fun 80's disco evening with music, entertainment, live auction and of course some well needed socialising! We hope to see you all there in support of our lovely St James Primary School!
