Get involved in eLearning at GEC

This term we are relaunching the Student Tube competition. If you don’t know, Student Tube is a video competition that we run every year. The categories are comedy, educational (students can double up if they’re working on a video in class) and cultural (if they have a video that represents student culture in or outside of school). Students can use a video they’ve already made or create a new one; however, you can’t use one you’ve entered into the competition before. It was a hit last year so we are doing it again this year, hopefully better than ever before! The winners from last year were given a $20 voucher of their choice as a prize. We hope to see lots of students enter!

We’re proud of our Geo Map that we are constantly making available to students so they can pinpoint where they feel their origins are. It’s great to see how diverse our students are and learning about where we are all from. The map will be available for students to pin themselves on it via email again at the start of this term if you haven't already done so.

We also want to congratulate our two new members Anika Dixit and Luisa David. They will be helping out in website design and communication with the SRC. These roles are crucial in the development of our squad and making sure we can better communicate with student needs.
