Retreat and appeals

Year 12 Retreat

ON Monday we had our Year 12 Retreat - a wonderful day run by the Youth Mission Team.

Here are some comments below, written by students about their experiences on the day.

I feel I was opened more to how God is, I feel I look at religion differently in a better way, wanting to be more closer to feel like I belong somewhere.

I might actually have a go with religion. Even through I walked in being non-religious, I'm walking out inspired and questioning who God is.

It was a beautiful day. I feel more open to everything. It has changed the way I look at life and God.

Winter Appeal update

Thank you to everyone who supported our Winter Appeal - it was a great effort!  The Vinnies will be collecting after the holidays, so if you are doing a clean out over the holidays please save your items of winter clothing and non-perishable food items and bring them into Student Ministry at the start of Term 3.

Kimberley fundraising during interviews

We have a special opportunity at the Student/Parent /Teacher Interviews  (Tuesday, 19 July) to do some fundraising for the Kimberley Immersion. We are wanting to raise some funds to purchase some items for the  Gawooleng Yawoodeng Aboriginal Crisis Care Accommodation Centre.

Our Immersion students will be selling cakes, biscuits and slices so please bring along some cash on this day. We are also gratefully accepting donations of food to sell from our wider community, too.

If you would like to assist us in this worthy fundraiser  we would be grateful. Please label your donation and list the ingredients used in baking.  Donations can be dropped off on Monday at the College Reception of anytime from 8am on Tuesday.
