Trading places: plumbing and painting

THIS week four students - Ben, Isaiah, Dylan and Kane - participated in the MPA Skills Try-A-Trade program, consisting of three activity-filled days in which students tried a variety of plumbing and painting tasks.  

Some of their activities included: 

• Creating a sprinkler for use at home
• Drain laying and pipe joining 
• Learning about and trying out painting techniques
• Worksite preparation 
• Construction work safety 
• How to use tools of each trade

The students worked incredibly hard and approached each activity with great enthusiasm.  We hope you enjoy a few photos from their time with MPA Skills.
