Have you ever wondered what happens to your children when they leave you in the morning, bound for school? Whether it be via carpool, walking, drop off or the bus, if you get a ‘nothing much’ response to your ‘what happened today?’ question, then I can tell you. Even better, I can show you: the answer is the opposite, quite ‘A LOT!’
Aitken is such a busy place where students are constantly being challenged and engaged. They are creating, learning, absorbing and actively participating while developing skills in collaboration, leadership, project management, respect for self and others. From Art Club every Thursday at lunch, to VCE Open Access on a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday or the new ‘This week’s medium is’ workshops that are planned to run in Term Two, your children do a lot in and out of class.
Here are some images taken in just one day; revealing what ‘nothing much’ could actually look like.
