ST ANDREWS SOCCER LEAGUE

Our St Andrews Soccer league concluded on Thursday 6th September after six successful weeks this term. We started from scratch and have built up to over 70 students in twelve 6-a-side teams playing each other from Grades 3-8 from Waverley Christian College, Bayswater South Primary School and St Andrews Christian College. It's great to see girls and boys getting more "engaged" in school through Soccer and building up teamwork, co-operation and social friendships through the game! Thanks to Colin and Sonja Sires for their photos and unwavering support to help grow the League! Go Soccer!

CSEN INTERSCHOOL ATHLETICS

Primary Division B Athletics – Champions!

On Monday 10th September St Andrews won the Primary Division B Athletics Championship at Doncaster! Well done to all involved on a great effort!

Secondary Division A Athletics

On Tuesday 11th September St Andrews won u14, u15 and u16 girls age groups, featuring Julia Pajor (Yr 8), Andrea Chai (Yr 8), Samantha O’Donnell (Yr 8), Charli-Rose Morris (Yr 8), Hannah Collis (Yr 9), Carla Dreyer (Yr 10), Ella Cassidy (Yr 10), Rachael Song (Yr 10), Eunice Lim (Yr 10), Becky Schenker (Yr 10), Felicia Arefta (Yr 10), Audrey Ang (Yr 10), Isabelle Baxter (Yr 9) and Jolie Wong (Yr 10), as well as the u15 boys age group featuring Brendan Lam (Yr 9), Chaz Zeng (Yr 8), Callum Andrew (Yr 9), Tim Chou (Yr 9), Patrick Accadia (Yr 9), Noah Forbes (Yr 9), Jason Lam (Yr 9) and You-Sheng Hsieh (Yr 9).  

Overall St Andrews came 3rd in the Division A Athletics. Special mention goes to Carla Dreyer (Yr10) who won all her events and Chavella Tanubrata (Yr 7), who not only managed to win all her events, she also broke 3 CSEN interschool records on the day in the 200m, 400m and triple jump!
