MIDDLE YEARS ART

Everyone agrees that the Photo Ark work from Year 8 is outstanding - the small exhibition of student work is displayed in the Innovation Centre.

Year 7 are working hard on their MoMA Masterpieces! Inspiring, innovative work that connects each student’s worldview with a movement of art from the last 130 years in their own choice of medium.

Year 6 have completed their Google Logos, on display on the art room, and are now beginning Term 4 work to hand make a ‘Character Trait Character’ for their Prep Buddy. We are certainly busy!

YEAR 10 ART

Year 10 students have created a variety of portraits inspired by Rubens and Rembrandt. Students have learned the technique of Chiaroscuro, through which artists traditionally depict light shining from the darkness.
