WHAT'S NEW AT KNOX LIBRARY?

Knox Library would like to start up a reading club on the third Tuesday of the month from 4 – 5.30pm. If you love reading and are aged between 12 and 16 years old, this may be for you! Snacks provided!

CHINESE MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL

On Monday, 17 September 2018, Chinese Mid-Autumn Day was celebrated in the St. Andrews Christian College Library. Dozens of staff and students watched with great interest the performances of our Year 12 Students (Chinese FL & SL) and guest dancers.

 A well-known calligrapher, Mr Zhi Hua Cui, demonstrated his skill. Mr Cui donated a master calligraphy work to our school with the words “中秋月夜美，天涯共此时” (meaning: The moon-light is shining beautifully in the Mid-Autumn night being shared by us all at same time, no matter where we are!). The implied meaning is that we are celebrating the Chinese traditional festival at the same time, like family members, no matter who we are.

We sincerely express our warmest thanks for the great support from our school heads, staff, students and parents involved, either as participants or audience!
