ENSEMBLES EXTRAVAGANZA

Wow!! What a wonderful feast of musical talent we saw tonight at the Ensembles Evening. With students from Year 2 to Year 12 we were treated to outstanding solos and group performances. Congratulations to all the performers and thank you to all the instrumental staff for their work with the students.

Performing at the Ringwood Salvation Army was great opportunity to use a fully equipped venue and both parents and students enjoyed the atmosphere that this created on the night.

Particular congratulations and thanks to Mrs Metcalfe and Mr Batty for all their work and coordination making the evening such a success. These nights keep getting better and better! Well done everyone.

CONCERT BAND SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

We are delighted to inform you that in 2019 we will be replacing our Year 5 Band Programme with a Concert Band Scholarship Programme for students in Year 2 upwards. This programme is open to applications from any student who will be in Year 3 2019.

The instruments on offer are traditional Concert Band instruments – trumpet, trombone, saxophone, flute and clarinet – and students should be starting this instrument as a complete beginner. They will be able to give their instrumental preference but the final decision of instrument allocation will be made by the Head of Music and Instrumental Coordinator.

Please use the form below to express your interest in this programme, and an Information Pack and Application Form will be sent to you. The closing date for applications will be as shown on the application form. https://goo.gl/forms/zqLpMWSLQjtTBiVN2
