Congratulations to Josh Doyle earning 2nd place in the World Skills games for VET Automotive.

Josh competed against VET Automotive students from around Victorian in a series of competitions demonstrating the skills and knowledge of the industry.  WorldSkills competitions operate at a regional, national and international level.  Well done Josh.

 

Work Experience

Work Experience with St Kilda FC

Applications to participate in our Year 10 Work Experience Program open 2 December 2019 and close 14 February 2020.

The program is structured to provide participants with a broad and comprehensive overview of different areas within the administrative and football departments. Participants will hear from members of staff about their role within the club and they may also participate in other experiences and events during their placement, however this will depend on the club’s yearly calendar of activities.

City of Stonnington work experience offers secondary students the opportunity to develop their subject-based skills, learn about the industry and the workplace, explore possible career options, and enhance interpersonal and communication skills.

Work experience at GTAC

GTAC is proud to offer an engaging and rewarding work experience program for Victorian students. The program, known as our Science Immersion Research Experience (SIRE) program, provides students the opportunity to work within the GTAC team. This can involve using research grade equipment to conduct cutting edge science experiments, pursuing small research projects, tours of world class science research facilities such as CSL and The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, and assisting team members in preparing and delivering educational programs.

Northern Health’s work experience program operates throughout the year, providing secondary students with a five-day block of placement which brings the opportunity to gain insight into the health care system and workplace.
