Congratulations to our April Aussie of the Month Ivy.

Aussie of the Month is awarded to a student each month that demonstrates the qualities of fairness, mateship, respect and inclusion.  

This month, Ivy has been awarded Year 6 Aussie of the Month! Ivy is a polite, kind, and exceptionally dedicated student. She is an avid reader and actively participates in a Year 6 Book Club at school, demonstrating a genuine love of learning.

Ivy is also a strong writer and exemplary role model, consistently following our school values and supporting her classmates. Her enthusiasm, responsibility, and positive attitude make her a wonderful example for all Year 6 students.

A little bit about our AUSSIE

What are some things you like to do outside of school?

Mainly reading, but I also like swimming, going to Girl Guides and writing/drawing.

What makes you happy?

I like it when people don’t ignore me.  I like a quiet environment (mostly) and I like getting things right and also not letting people down.

How do you like to help others at school?

I like holding the door open for people, making people smile, and occasionally leaving little sticky notes with smiley faces on them.

What’s a goal you have for yourself this year?

I want to get better at forgiving myself, controlling my emotions and becoming more organised.
