LIBRARY

I would like to extend my thanks to the children and staff at Great Ryrie for caring for the library whilst I was unwell over the past 3 weeks. 

Special thank you to the Library Captains, Nivie and Audrey, for coming to man the library and speaking at the Assembly.

So lovely to be back and enjoying catching up with the children in the lunchtime reading club; and seeing their love of reading grow.

The Preps are now coming to have a look around, take out a book and quite often another child or school support staff will read to them.

BOOK RETURNS

The books need to be returned to the library for the holidays. Thank you to the classes that are already returning their books. 

For the children of Great Ryrie, “You are Responsible when you return your books to the library.” 

SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB ISSUE 2

All the book club orders have arrived and been distributed to the classroom teachers to hand to the children. Enjoy!

During the holidays you could visit your local library and see all the books they have to offer.
