Mary Poppins Jr. - it’s more than a Production…
At Moama Anglican Grammar we greatly value providing students with access to diverse pathway choices in areas of passion, curiosity, and interest to support learning confidence, engagement, and the achievement of personal bests.
Students thrive when they are immersed in nurturing academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular learning experiences that challenge them beyond their comfort zones and extend them into their personal growth zones in safe, highly encouraging, and supportive environments.
Our 2026 Mary Poppins Jr. Musical Theatre Production is such an environment thanks to the outstanding work and care of our staff production team, supporting volunteers, community partners, and the dedication, camaraderie, and relentless commitment of every participating student.
It has been fantastic to ‘see, hear and feel’ the genuine buzz in the air amongst our students, staff and families as the final touches occur during rehearsals and we approach production week.
To me, Mary Poppins Jr. is more than a production. It is a growth journey for a group of students from Years 5 to 12 that started with a concept, blossomed during rehearsals and will come to life on the stage at the Echuca Paramount next week.
What is not seen by our community when attending the refined performances is the challenging moments, the moments of self-doubt, and the epiphany that comes with growth in the performing arts classroom - the ‘I can do this’ moment.
It is this journey that ultimately results in the development of self-confidence, joy, and passionate expression, both individually, and as a collective cast.
Our school community will have the opportunity to see the Mary Poppins Jr. Musical Theatre Production across four shows, with both ticketed shows sold out.
We hope those attending thoroughly enjoy watching our talented performers and backstage crew members shine in the creative and performing arts classroom!
I’m so proud of them all.
Kind regards,
Mr Scott Downward
Principal
