If you received CSEF for your student at Gisborne Secondary College in 2025 there is no need to reapply.
If your student is new to Gisborne Secondary College an application form will need to be filled out for 2026 – this includes 2026 Year 7 students transferring from a Primary School.
Compass – 2026 Parent Payment Contributions
The 2026 Parent Payment Contributions have been uploaded on to Compass and can be found under the Contributions tab.
We do appreciate your contribution towards your child’s curriculum costs, as these allow us to run educational programs within the school and provide resources to aid in your child’s learning.
The Curriculum Contribution charge has been split into 4 equal payments. You can choose to pay all 4 payments at once or one payment per term.
Current payment methods include Compass, direct deposit or BPay.
Excursion Permissions and Payments
Excursions on Compass close for permission and payment three days before the event occurs. This allows the school time to confirm transport and staffing requirements. Please ensure you give permission and payment in a timely manner, so your child does not miss out on attending.
Any student without permission and/or payment will not be able to attend and will need to remain at school.
If you wish to pay for an excursion using CSEF or credit on your account, please action the permission on Compass and choose pay by CSEF/Credit option.
Local Area Excursions
Parent/Carer permissions required
In 2026 Gisborne Secondary College may take students outside of school grounds to undertake educational activities in the local area. Local excursions are excursions to locations within walking distance of the school and do not involve Adventure Activities.
To simplify the permission process, the College has a blanket consent for Local Area Excursions for the 2026 school year that we ask parents/carers to please review and action in Compass. Once actioned, we will not seek further consent from you before local excursions take place, however, we will provide advance notice to parents/carers of upcoming local excursions through Compass, the school newsletter or email communication. For local excursions that occur on a recurring basis, we will notify parents/carers prior to the commencement of the recurring event, eg; weekly sports lessons at the local oval.
Please contact our Finance Manager Katrina at katrina.robertson@education.vic.gov.au if you have any finance related queries.
