A message from Miss Russell

đ Book Week Parade
What a fantastic Book Week Parade we had on Wednesday! It was wonderful to see so many students and staff getting involved and celebrating their love of books and reading.
Â
There were some amazing costumes on display, and we loved seeing the creativity and enthusiasm across the school. Thank you to our families for your support in helping make the day such a success.
đ Opportunity Class Placements
Congratulations to all students who received an offer for an Opportunity Class placement. This is a wonderful achievement, and we wish you every success as you take this next step.
Â
Families who have received an offer are reminded to carefully read the information provided by the Selective Education Team, as this outlines the next steps, including accepting or declining your placement and any relevant deadlines.
Â
We also acknowledge that receiving OC results can bring a range of emotions, particularly for students who may not have received the outcome they were hoping for. We encourage families to remind children that one result does not define their abilities or future success. If your child is disappointed or requires some additional support, please reach out to their classroom teacher so we can support them at school.
đ€ Year 6 PJ Day Fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who supported our Year 6 fundraiser by participating in PJ Day on Tuesday. It was fantastic to see so many students getting involved and enjoying the day while supporting our Year 6 students.
Â
Thank you to our families for continuing to support our Year 6 fundraising activities.
đ« Year 6 â High School Enrolment Reminder
A reminder to all Year 6 families that high school enrolment confirmations are due to your local high school.
Â
Please ensure that your childâs high school enrolment has been completed and that you have responded to any correspondence or requests from the high school.
Â
If you have not yet completed the enrolment process, please contact and enrol directly with your local high school as soon as possible. This is important to ensure a smooth transition and that your child has a confirmed placement for Year 7.

Reminder â Early Student Pick-Up
A reminder to all parents and carers that if you need to collect your child early from school, all early pick-ups must be organised through the Front Office.
Â
Please enter the school via the Forest Road pedestrian gate and proceed directly to the Front Office. Office staff will contact your childâs classroom and have them come to the office to meet you.
Â
For the safety and supervision of all students, parents and carers are asked not to walk through the playground or go directly to classrooms to collect their child.
Â
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for all students.
